Summit Construction & Development LLC is looking for an experienced Crew Leader / Foreman to lead utility crews working on Water, Sewer, and Storm Drainage projects.

The ideal candidate has strong utility construction experience, can lead a crew in the field, operate construction equipment, and ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct utility crews on daily field activities.
• Work on water, sewer, and storm drainage projects.
• Operate construction equipment and machinery as needed.
• Read and follow construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, equipment operators, and other crews.
• Ensure proper installation of pipe, structures, and underground utilities.
• Monitor crew productivity, work quality, and jobsite progress.
• Communicate jobsite issues, delays, and material or equipment needs to management.
• Maintain a safe and organized jobsite.
• Follow OSHA, GDOT, company, and jobsite safety requirements.
• Train and provide direction to crew members.
• Properly use and care for equipment, tools, and materials.

Requirements

• 3+ years of utility construction experience required.
• Experience with Water, Sewer, and Storm Drainage required.
• Previous Crew Leader or Foreman experience preferred.
• Experience operating construction equipment and machinery required.
• Experience operating excavators, loaders, skid steers, backhoes, trenchers, and similar equipment.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Relevant construction or utility certifications preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage a crew.
• Reliable, dependable, and safety-focused.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors and around heavy equipment.

Schedule & Availability

• Schedule depends on business and project needs.
• Must be flexible to work day or night shifts as required.
• Some Saturdays may be required.
• Overtime may be required based on project schedules.
