Crew Member - Afternoon /Evening Shift

Shift hours between 11am-7pm or 3pm-9pm

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies and food items (wraps, sandwich etc) , ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment to uphold food safety standards.
• Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
• Restock supplies, ingredients, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow food handling procedures and safety guidelines during food preparation and serving to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as taking orders, preparing smoothies /food items, and maintaining a clean environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred.
• Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines. Minimum Age 16 or older.
• Familiarity with POS systems for processing sales transactions accurately.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests of all ages.
• Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift.
• Bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice or taking out trash.
• Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers.
• Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
