Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct transactions
• Prepare food items according to established standards, maintaining high levels of food safety and sanitation
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations with precision and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, dining area, and food prep stations by bussing tables and managing sanitation protocols
• Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles within quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy café or restaurant setting
• Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or retail environments is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Kitchen experience or culinary background is beneficial but not required
