Previous food industry experience is essential for this role.

The Role

As a Crew Member, you’ll play an important part in the daily running of our store. From preparing and serving delicious bagels to welcoming customers and keeping the store clean and organised, you’ll help ensure every customer receives great food and excellent service.

We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently as part of a busy team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve bagels, sandwiches and other menu items to a high standard.
• Deliver friendly, efficient and welcoming customer service.
• Take customer orders, operate the till and handle payments accurately.
• Follow food preparation, hygiene and food safety procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen, service area and customer spaces.
• Assist with stock rotation, deliveries and restocking.
• Follow opening, closing and daily cleaning procedures.
• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Minimise food waste and maintain consistent food quality and presentation.
• Support the Shift Manager with daily tasks and operational standards.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working in the food industry is essential.
• Experience in a café, restaurant, takeaway, bakery or similar food service environment is preferred.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• A positive team player who is willing to learn and take initiative.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and busy periods.
