• 2 x Permanent Full Time positions
• 38 hours per week with 9 day fortnight including RDO
• Located at Charmhaven Depot

About the role

As a Crew Member Operator, you will work within the Pavement Maintenance Team to help deliver road construction, maintenance and drainage works across the Central Coast. You will safely operate a range of plant and heavy vehicles, complete inspections and maintenance records, and support on-site activities through general labouring and traffic control duties. This practical role is ideal for a reliable team player who takes pride in providing quality service and creating value for the community.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
Applicant Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current HR Drivers Licence
• Current SafeWork accreditation as a Traffic Controller (TCR)
• Current SafeWork accreditation to Implement Traffic Control Plans (IMP)
• Relevant licences or certification of competency to operate allocated plant or with obligation to obtain within a specified time period as required
• Current Safework White Card (general construction induction card) or equivalent
• You will also have demonstrated experience operating small plant, including towing, plant floating and load restraint activities and operating trucks over 4.5 tonnes. You will also bring practical experience completing general labouring tasks within civil construction and maintenance environments. Experience as a reliable team member and effective communicator, as well as a commitment to workplace safety and environmental management.

Offer Details

The commencing salary for this position is up to $68,704.90. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $79,604.96 on completion of assessment of skills and/ or performance plus 12% superannuation + $20.29 per week Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions.
