Duties

• Support food preparation activities, including assembling ingredients and ensuring food safety standards are met
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Maintain cleanliness of workspaces, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with sanitation regulations
• Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and balance registers at shift end
• Assist with food handling duties, including serving customers, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed consistently to promote a safe dining environment

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and operating kitchen equipment is advantageous
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills to create positive guest interactions and promote sales through upselling strategies
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail transactions, and inventory management
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures within the food industry or retail environment
