Duties

• Prepare food items efficiently and accurately following established recipes and safety guidelines
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions swiftly and accurately
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service, assisting guests with menu selections and inquiries
• Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Support team members during busy periods by managing food prep, serving customers, and ensuring smooth operations

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
• Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety procedures in the food industry
• Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
• Familiarity with sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper kitchen procedures
• Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
