Crew - Spreader/Float Driver

Unite Resourcing is seeking experienced Spreader / Float Drivers and Trimming Equipment Operators for upcoming civil and road construction projects across WA.

This opportunity is with a well-established Tier 1 civil contractor working across major infrastructure and roadworks projects.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced operators with a strong background in cement spreading, stabilisation works and final trimming, as well as experience operating a range of civil plant.

Successful candidates will support pavement and stabilisation crews across daily production activities while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cement spreaders and floats
• Carry out trimming and finishing works
• Operate civil plant including:
  • Loaders
  • Posi-tracks
  • Excavators
  • Rollers
• Support stabilisation and pavement construction activities
• Complete daily pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks
• Work to project levels, specifications and production requirements
• Follow site safety procedures and directions from supervisors
• Assist with general civil duties where required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience with cement spreaders and stabilisation works
• Experience operating loaders, posi-tracks, excavators and/or rollers
• Strong civil construction, roadworks or pavement experience
• Relevant machinery tickets / VOCs
• Construction White Card
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Strong understanding of workplace safety requirements
• Ability to work effectively as part of a civil crew
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
