Crewing Manager for Ships

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Crewing Manager to oversee crew recruitment, deployment, and personnel management for our fleet operations with strong knowledge of maritime operations, crew management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the recruitment, screening, and selection of qualified seafarers in accordance with company and industry standards
• Oversee crew scheduling, deployment, rotation planning, and contract renewals to ensure uninterrupted vessel operations
• Coordinate crew changes, travel arrangements, and documentation requirements
• Ensure compliance with STCW, flag state, and company regulations, including monitoring crew certifications, medical records, and training validity
• Maintain accurate crew records, performance evaluations, and personnel databases
• Liaise with vessel management, principals, and crew members regarding operational and crewing concerns
• Monitor crew welfare, address onboard concerns, and support seafarers’ professional development
• Coordinate mandatory trainings, refresher courses, and career advancement programs for crew members
• Assist in managing crewing budgets, travel costs, overtime monitoring, and overall operational efficiency
• Support digital recruitment initiatives and online manpower sourcing when necessary

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any 4 year college course
• Proven experience in crewing, fleet personnel management, or maritime operations
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, crew documentation, and deployment procedures
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple vessels and crew operations efficiently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and crew management systems
• Experience in recruitment, automation, or digital marketing is an advantage
