Criminal Defence Lawyer

You will be working on a mix of private client and legal aid matters that may further stretch and develop your expertise. You’ll lead high-profile matters in the District and High Courts and undertake appellate work as your experience allows. You’ll be keen to mentor and develop our team to further successes.

The role:

-        Dynamic and fast-paced

-        Solid court (and possibly appellate) experience across a wide range of criminal cases

-        Excellent research and writing skills

-        Natural aptitude to mentor ‘up’ juniors where you enjoy working as part of a team

The requirements:

-        Passionate about criminal defence work

-        4 plus PQE

-        Extensive courtroom and trial experience

-        Proven ability to manage complex files and meet deadlines

-        Strong advocacy, analytical and communication skills

-        Confident, professional and collaborative
