Crimson - General Manager

About the Role

The Wildbirch Hotel is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead Crimson, our signature restaurant concept. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving culinary excellence, guest experience, financial performance, and team culture in a fast-paced, high-visibility F&B environment as part of a Joie de Vivre by Hyatt boutique property.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Crimson, ensuring consistent quality of service, food, and beverage program execution
• Manage P&L responsibility including labor cost, COGS, and revenue targets
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop front-of-house and support staff
• Partner with the Executive Chef and F&B leadership on menu execution, guest experience standards, and brand consistency
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards
• Handle guest relations, including resolving escalated concerns
• Collaborate with hotel leadership on events, banquets, and cross-departmental initiatives
• Drive employee engagement and retention within the outlet

Qualifications

• 6+ years of restaurant or hospitality management experience, ideally in an upscale or boutique setting
• Strong financial acumen (P&L management, labor cost control)
• Proven leadership and team-building skills
• Alaska Food Worker Card and TAM certification (or ability to obtain)
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
