Crisis Intervention Associate - PRN

Summary:

Responsible for non-clinical functions associated with evaluation and placement of psychiatric patients in the ED. Searches previous Medical Records and identifies bed resources for inpatient hospitalization. Contacts third party payors and provides demographic and other patient data to procure authorization and approval for treatment. Assists the Crisis Intervention Specialist (CIS) staff with other related non-clinical tasks in support of psychiatric evaluation and disposition of ED patients

Bachelor's Degree

Education Note:

Bachelors degree in a mental health related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Licensures & Certifications:

Pay Range: $17.00 to $28.65 Based On Experience
