𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: Critical Care Medicine Advisor

Fruit Street Health is seeking experienced Critical Care Medicine physicians to serve as Critical Care Medicine Advisors. This role is ideal for intensivists with expertise in intensive care, pulmonary and critical care, sepsis management, mechanical ventilation, acute respiratory failure, hospital medicine, tele-ICU, digital health, artificial intelligence, remote monitoring, or healthcare innovation.

As a Critical Care Medicine Advisor, you will provide clinical, operational, and strategic guidance to support the development of innovative digital health solutions, remote patient monitoring programs, artificial intelligence initiatives, and chronic disease management platforms. Your expertise will help ensure Fruit Street Health builds technology that supports high-quality, evidence-based care while improving patient outcomes, clinician workflows, and healthcare efficiency.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Provide clinical and strategic guidance on digital health initiatives related to critical care, remote patient monitoring, pulmonary disease, chronic disease management, artificial intelligence, virtual care, and healthcare technology.

• Advise on clinical workflows, physician adoption, patient monitoring, care coordination, hospital-to-home transitions, evidence-based protocols, and opportunities to improve patient outcomes through technology.

• Review new product concepts, clinical features, AI applications, remote monitoring strategies, and digital health solutions to ensure clinical accuracy, safety, and real-world usability.

• Share industry insights and subject matter expertise regarding critical care delivery, ICU operations, telemedicine, value-based care, hospital systems, and emerging healthcare technologies.

• Participate in periodic advisory meetings and provide practical recommendations based on your clinical and leadership experience.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• MD or DO with experience practicing Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine, or a related specialty.

• Board certification or board eligibility in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, or Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine preferred.

• Experience with intensive care, hospital medicine, sepsis management, mechanical ventilation, tele-ICU, remote patient monitoring, digital health, healthcare AI, quality improvement, healthcare leadership, or clinical innovation preferred.

• Strong understanding of critical care workflows, multidisciplinary care teams, hospital operations, patient monitoring technologies, clinical decision-making, and implementation of healthcare technology.

• Ability to commit approximately 1–2 hours per month to advisory board participation and strategic advisory activities.
