Critical Infrastructure Operations Engineer

General Purposes of the Position

The purpose of this position is to support the installation and maintenance of all electrical, electronic, mechanical, and HVAC critical infrastructure. The technician will provide support to all facility operations teams when assigned. This team member will work to find creative ways to keep operational costs to a minimum and will work outside of the box with team members to improve efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of critical infrastructure.
• Works on shift operation as the roster assigned by the senior engineer.
• Performs, executes, cooperates and participates in all activities relating to Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment.
• Provides requested reporting and documentation in CMMSS
• Support of facility, development, and construction teams.
• Performs tasks as assigned by management staff.
• Responds to customer requests, power, cooling, and facility audits.
• Investigates any power, communication, or cooling anomalies.
• Responds to and investigate out of ordinary sight, smells, and sounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent years of experience and certifications.
• Professional concerned engineering licenses/certificates

Required Skills

• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills both English and Thai.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems that may be deployed in a data center environment. This may include electrical feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, DC power systems, ATS/STS units, PDU units, air handling units, cooling towers, and fire suppression systems.
• Clearly understand Critical Infrastructure Operations procedures and able to follow the procedures.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical drawings.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in electrical, or mechanical engineering or facility technical and operations.
