Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About Us
House Of Glow Up is a fast-growing photography studio business with an expanding portfolio of brands, including Manchester School Of Modelling and Glow Up Kids.
As our businesses continue to grow, so does our reliance on technology, automation and data-driven decision-making. We are looking for a technically minded, adaptable individual to help manage, maintain and improve the systems that power our operations.
About the Role
We are seeking a multidisciplinary technical professional with experience across CRM management, data analytics, web development and automation.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines technical problem-solving with digital marketing and business intelligence. You will be responsible for maintaining existing systems, developing new solutions and finding smarter ways to improve efficiency across our businesses.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who is curious, resourceful and eager to learn. You don’t need to be an expert in every technology we use, but you should have a strong technical foundation, be confident troubleshooting problems and be comfortable learning new tools independently.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Management & Digital Marketing
* Manage and maintain our CRM systems, including large customer databases.
* Plan, create and execute targeted email and SMS marketing campaigns.
* Segment customer databases to improve personalisation, engagement and conversions.
* Monitor campaign performance using key metrics, identifying opportunities to improve results.
* Maintain data quality, accuracy and overall CRM performance.
Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
* Maintain and manage our databases, ensuring data is accurate, organised and accessible.
* Monitor and troubleshoot data flows between CRM platforms, databases and other business systems.
* Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and visualisations using Metabase.
* Analyse performance across multiple businesses, including marketing, sales and operational activity.
* Use SQL queries to extract, transform and analyse data to support business decisions.
Automation & System Integration
* Create and maintain automated workflows using platforms such as n8n or Zapier.
* Identify repetitive tasks and develop solutions to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
* Build and maintain integrations between CRM systems, databases, websites and third-party applications.
* Work with APIs to facilitate reliable communication and data exchange between platforms.
* Troubleshoot existing automations and continuously improve system reliability.
Web Development & AI-Assisted Applications
* Develop, maintain and improve multiple WordPress websites across our brands.
* Manage website functionality, integrations, updates and technical issues.
* Build, maintain and improve custom web applications using AI-assisted coding tools.
* Use AI development tools to accelerate development while ensuring applications remain functional, reliable and maintainable.
* Identify opportunities to introduce new digital tools and systems that support business growth.
Essential Skills & Experience
* CRM Platforms: Experience with HighLevel (GoHighLevel) or similar CRM systems.
* Email & SMS Marketing: Experience creating campaigns, managing customer segmentation and analysing performance.
* SQL & Databases: Working knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
* Business Intelligence: Experience with Metabase, Power BI or similar reporting and data visualisation platforms.
* WordPress Development: Experience developing, maintaining and troubleshooting WordPress websites.
* AI-Assisted Development: Familiarity with using AI coding tools to create, modify and maintain web applications.
* Workflow Automation: Experience with n8n, Zapier or similar automation platforms.
* JavaScript: Basic knowledge of JavaScript and web development fundamentals.
* APIs & Integrations: Good understanding of REST APIs and integrating different software platforms.
Desirable Skills
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
* Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control.
* Basic Linux knowledge, including command-line usage and server environments.
* Experience running paid advertising campaigns through Meta Ads and Google Ads.
* Understanding of digital advertising performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA and conversion tracking.
What We’re Looking For
Technical knowledge is important, but attitude and adaptability are equally valuable.
The ideal candidate will be:
* A natural problem-solver who enjoys investigating technical challenges and finding practical solutions.
* A fast learner who can confidently pick up new software, technologies and development tools.
* Technically curious, with a genuine interest in AI, automation, data and emerging technologies.
* Proactive and independent, capable of identifying improvements and taking ownership of projects.
* Analytical and detail-oriented, comfortable working with large datasets and technical systems.
* Versatile and adaptable, able to switch between CRM, analytics, automation and development tasks.
* Business-minded, understanding that technology should ultimately improve efficiency, customer experience and business performance.
We don’t expect you to know everything from day one. What matters most is having the technical ability, initiative and willingness to learn whatever is needed to get the job done.
Why Join Us?
This is an opportunity to work across several growing brands and gain hands-on experience with a wide range of technologies.
Unlike a traditional role focused on one specialist area, you’ll have the opportunity to work across CRM, data engineering, business intelligence, automation, web development and AI-assisted applications.
You’ll play an important role in shaping how our businesses use technology, with opportunities to introduce new ideas, improve existing processes and develop your skills as our operations expand.
If you’re technically minded, enjoy building things, love solving problems and are excited about learning new technologies, we’d love to hear from you.
