Crop Advisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Crop Advisor and/or pesticide applicator to join our agricultural team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted expert for indoor cannabis farms and traditional non-cannabis farms, providing tailored crop management solutions that enhance productivity and Integrated Pest Management

Your proactive approach will help clients optimize their crop yields through innovative strategies, technical advice, and personalized service. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their unique crop needs and providing expert guidance on pest management, fertilization, and irrigation practices.
• Conduct on-site crop assessments to monitor health, identify issues, and recommend effective solutions aligned with best practices and current technology.
• Promote the adoption of new products, technologies, and farming techniques through engaging presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs.
• Negotiate sales agreements, close deals efficiently, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing within a B2B (business-to-business) environment.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients while onsite and ongoing account management.
• Demonstrated ability scouting and monitoring crops for pests.
• Proficiency with pesticides, sprayers, organization, pest identification, and logging data.
