Job Title: Crop Insurance Processor

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Crop Insurance Processor with demonstrated, hands-on experience in crop or closely related agricultural insurance processing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing crop insurance applications, policy changes, endorsements, and reports with minimal supervision. This role requires high attention to detail, the ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced deadlines, and familiarity with crop insurance policies. Knowledge of RMA forms, procedures, and compliance standards is highly valued. The successful candidate will be ready to start immediately with minimal training.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process crop insurance applications, policy modifications, endorsements, and supporting documentation.
• Manage documentation related to sales closing dates, acreage reports, production reports, and other critical deadlines.
• Verify information accuracy and completeness; communicate discrepancies promptly with agents, insureds, underwriters, or team members.
• Enter and update policy data across multiple processing platforms efficiently.
• Track outstanding documentation and follow up proactively to ensure timely submission before deadlines.
• Maintain detailed electronic records of notes, correspondence, supporting documents, confirmations, and policy histories.
• Ensure all documentation provides a clear audit trail for future reference, servicing, disputes, reviews, and compliance.
• Record verbal and written communications affecting coverage or policy terms accurately.
• Coordinate with AIPs regarding processing requirements, system issues, corrections, and outstanding items.
• Provide regular updates on work progress, pending items, upcoming deadlines, and issues needing attention.
• Assist with policy corrections, transfers, cancellations, endorsements, entity changes, and other servicing requests.
• Prioritize daily tasks based on deadlines and operational needs.
• Follow established procedures aligned with agency standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues promptly for resolution.
• Protect confidential client information and ensure data security at all times.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in crop insurance processing or closely related agricultural insurance policy servicing is required.
• Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with underwriters, agents, insureds, AIPs, and team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace tools, online databases, document management systems, and insurance-processing platforms.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong follow-through skills with a proactive approach to resolving missing or incomplete information.
• Knowledge of RMA forms, procedures, documentation standards, and compliance requirements is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
