Required Technical Skill Set

Crypto Operations, Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), nShield, ASM solutions, Digital Key Management, Encryption Standards, Crypto Inventory Controls, Data Security, Cloud Security, Cyber Security Controls, Unix/Linux, scripting, JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams, SharePoint

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• Experience in cryptography operations, enterprise key management, HSM administration, nShield, ASM solutions or digital key management is highly preferred.

• Manage enterprise key management, Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), crypto-load activities, HSM configuration and encryption standards.

• Maintain crypto-related inventory controls across keys, HSM assets and supporting cryptographic components.

• Implement, operate and assess the effectiveness of cryptographic controls, including risk reduction, escalation, reporting and remediation support.

• Maintain and enhance cryptographic technology, processes, operational procedures, knowledge objects and secondary standards to support SLA and project deliverables.

• Practical understanding of cryptography technologies for financial services, cloud security, data security, internet security and cyber security.

• Available to support planned change duties during weekday evenings or weekends when required.

Good-to-Have

• Candidates without direct crypto management experience may be considered if they have strong payment service system support experience, ASM solution experience, or production support experience in a large financial or regulated institution.

• Experience in payment systems, transaction processing platforms, SWIFT/card/ATM-related environments or other mission-critical banking applications is advantageous.

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP, and basic programming or automation experience in Java, Python or Shell scripting is a plus.

• Prior experience in IT development, IT service management, system administration, network, database, mainframe or midrange environments is beneficial.

• Technical certifications such as PCI QSA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, ITIL or equivalent education are preferred.

• Working knowledge of hardware-based encryption, internal control, cyber security, compliance and regulatory requirements is advantageous.

• Experience in regulated organisations.

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

• Operate and enhance the client's cryptographic technology services aligned with business risk appetite, security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cryptographic hardware and related software, including HSM configuration, crypto-load activities and installation into data centres or external hosting environments.
• Manage enterprise key management, HSMs, digital key lifecycle processes, encryption standards and crypto-related inventory controls.
• Participate in planned change implementation, including one day of weekend support and weekday late shift coverage from 18:00 to 00:00 when required, with compensation leave provided.
• Good communication skills in both Cantonese and English.
