Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Cryptocurrency Trader at The Ervin Group. The Cryptocurrency Trader will be responsible for monitoring digital asset markets, executing trades in line with defined risk parameters, and optimizing trading strategies to support the firm’s financial objectives. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing market data and trends, performing technical and fundamental assessments of cryptocurrency projects, and managing positions across multiple exchanges. The role involves preparing concise performance reports, maintaining accurate trading records, and collaborating with leadership to refine trading approaches. The individual in this position is expected to work independently, stay current on regulatory and market developments, and uphold strict risk management and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Cryptocurrency Trading and Cryptocurrency markets, including major coins, tokens, and exchanges.
• Experience with Trading and Trading Strategies, including risk management, position sizing, and execution best practices.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting charts, price action, and market indicators to inform trading decisions.
• Proficiency with trading platforms, market data tools, and basic technical analysis (e.g., support/resistance, volume, trend analysis).
• Ability to work remotely in a structured, self-directed manner while meeting performance and reporting expectations.
• Strong numerical literacy, attention to detail, and comfort with data-driven decision making.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting trades, strategies, and outcomes.
• Prior experience in crypto, finance, or trading roles is preferred; relevant certifications or coursework are a plus.
• Commitment to ethical trading practices and awareness of regulatory considerations in digital asset markets.
