CSA Bim Modeler

Position Overview

The CSA BIM Modeler is responsible for developing and maintaining Architectural and Structural BIM models using Autodesk Revit for project coordination, documentation, and delivery. The role produces accurate BIM models, construction drawings, and visualizations in accordance with project standards and BIM execution requirements. The position supports multidisciplinary teams on local and international projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Architectural and Structural BIM models in Autodesk Revit based on project requirements and BIM standards.
• Prepare construction documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, details, and drawing packages.
• Create 3D renderings, visualizations, and presentation materials using Enscape and other visualization tools.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve design and model coordination issues.
• Conduct model reviews and quality checks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and deliverable quality.
• Manage BIM data, model collaboration, and file exchanges through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Support project milestones and deliverables in collaboration with BIM Coordinators, Design Leads, and Project Managers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM workflows, standards, and documentation processes.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in BIM modeling and construction documentation, particularly in Architectural and Structural disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards, coordination processes, and Common Data Environments (CDEs).
• Good understanding of construction drawings, building systems, and project documentation.
• Ability to produce accurate BIM models, drawings, and project deliverables within agreed timelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to quality, continuous learning, and teamwork.
• Experience with point cloud modeling and Scan-to-BIM workflows is highly desirable.
