WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PROJECTS

You will join an experienced delivery team on a major data centre development in the Warsaw region, supporting the civil, structural and architectural scope within a wider multidisciplinary programme. These are fast-paced, high-specification environments where the CSA works set the platform for every following trade, and where accurate engineering, quality records and attention to detail carry real weight.

The working culture is collaborative and delivery-focused. Engineers are given genuine responsibility for their areas while being supported by experienced site management, with mature systems in place for planning, quality assurance and health and safety. Questions are welcomed, standards are held, and people who show they can be relied upon are given more.

The role offers exposure across the full construction lifecycle, from enabling works, groundworks and substructure through to frame, envelope, internal fit-out and handover, including the critical interface with the building services installation. You will work daily alongside site management, design consultants, specialist subcontractors and the MEP team, building the kind of technical grounding that supports progression into senior engineering and project management roles.

The position operates on a 17/4 rotation, with an allowance, accommodation and all travel provided. This structure delivers a focused and productive period on site followed by a genuine break away from the project, while the international setting offers the opportunity to work within an experienced, multinational team on one of the most active sectors in European construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide day-to-day site engineering support across the civil, structural and architectural works
• Carry out setting out, survey checks and dimensional control, verifying works against the issued drawings and specifications
• Coordinate subcontractors on site, monitoring progress, sequencing and resource against the programme
• Own QA/QC on your areas, managing inspection and test plans, quality records, checklists and the close-out of snags and defects
• Manage technical queries and RFIs, working with the design team to resolve buildability and interface issues ahead of construction
• Maintain accurate site records covering progress, materials, inspections and as-built information
• Review material submittals and shop drawings, ensuring compliance with the specification before installation
• Support the delivery of works to the required health, safety, quality and environmental standards
• Work closely with site management, consultants and the wider project team to keep the works on programme

WHAT YOU NEED

• Experience as a Project Engineer, Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer on civil, structural or architectural works
• A contractor or specialist subcontractor background, with hands-on site delivery experience
• A civil engineering, structural engineering or construction discipline; a degree is preferred but relevant site experience is equally valued
• Data centre or other high-specification project experience is beneficial but not essential
• Competence in setting out, survey and dimensional control, along with a solid working knowledge of QA/QC processes
• Confident coordinating subcontractors on site and holding quality and programme standards
• Excellent written and spoken English is essential, as the project operates in English across a multinational team
• Willingness to work on a 17/4 rotational basis at an international project location
