About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for Retail Account to join our dynamic team at H.M.O. International Recruitment Inc. This is a full-time position based in Cebu City, Cebu. In this role, you will be the vital link between our company and retail customers, providing exceptional support and resolving queries with professionalism and efficiency. This position is critical to maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty whilst representing our brand values with every interaction. The recruitment process for this role is conducted entirely virtually, allowing for a seamless and convenient application experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat with professionalism and courtesy
• Assist retail customers with product information, orders, returns, and complaints resolution
• Document customer interactions accurately in the company system and maintain detailed records
• Process customer requests and transactions in a timely and efficient manner
• Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance their experience
• Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex customer issues
• Meet performance targets including call handling time, customer satisfaction scores, and quality metrics
• Provide feedback to management on customer concerns and suggestions for service improvement
• Follow company policies and procedures whilst maintaining confidentiality of customer information

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification as a minimum
• Proven experience in customer service, ideally in a retail or call centre environment
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Patience and empathy when dealing with challenging customer situations
• Proficiency with computer systems and willingness to learn new software applications
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Previous experience with retail systems or point-of-sale platforms is preferred
• Multilingual abilities would be advantageous
