About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at VALEROS VELASCO BUSINESS SOLUTIONS INC. This is a full-time position based in Pasig City, Metro Manila, where you will be the voice of our company, delivering exceptional service to our valued customers through virtual interactions. This role is crucial to maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer support and building lasting relationships with clients. Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat and other communication channels
• Provide accurate, helpful and courteous support to resolve customer issues and concerns on the first contact whenever possible
• Document all customer interactions thoroughly and maintain detailed records in our customer management system
• Process customer requests, complaints and feedback in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and recommend improvements to service processes
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless customer experiences
• Maintain professional communication standards and uphold company values in all customer interactions
• Meet performance targets including call handling time, customer satisfaction ratings and quality metrics

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call centre or virtual customer support environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with clear pronunciation
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure
• Patient and empathetic approach to handling difficult or frustrated customers
• Proficiency in using computer systems, CRM software and standard office applications
• Ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
• Reliable, punctual and demonstrating strong work ethic and commitment
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including potential shift work as required
• Preferred: Previous experience in a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) environment
