What you will do:

Knows, understands, incorporates, and  

demonstrates

Performs

  daily operation

s of CT exams and procedures on scheduled  

shift

  including emergency callback

  as assigned

.   

Operates CT equipment in a safe and knowledgeable manner

.

 

Provides care  

to

  neonate, pediatric, adolescent,  

adult

  and geriatric patients.

 

Communicates

  effectively and  

in a timely manner

  with

  patients,

 

other  

staff, radiologists,

 

students

  and other management.  

Actively listens and positively  

accepts

  change and  

is able to

 

deal with stressful situations.

 

 

Provides patient/family or caregiver education and counseling in recognition and solution  

of

  physical, emotional, and environmental health problems.

 

Utilizes  

correct

  process for patient identification

.   

Right patient, right exam, right time.

 

Participates as directed in

  QA activities,  

maintains

  current relevant documentation.

Qualifications:

Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program

  (ARRT or NMTCB)

.

 

2+  

years

  CT experience

.

   

CT credential (ARRT

  or NMTCB

)  

required

.

 

Maintains active registry status

.

 

Maintains current  

state of employment

  Permit to Practice

 

Radiology Technologist License

 

Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population  

served

  within three (3) months of hire.

 

Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
