CT Technologist

Role Overview: A CT Technologist (Acute) is responsible for operating advanced CT imaging equipment to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a high-acuity medical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as biopsies, drainages, spinal injections, and trauma imaging.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and operating room settings.
• Interpret patient information to determine care requirements based on age-specific needs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certification: ARRT (R), (N), or CNMT required; CT certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience: Prior acute care or CT experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, basic computer skills, analytical ability, and adaptability to patient needs.
