CT Tech

$15,000 Sign-On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates

Baptist Health Imaging, where compassionate care meets advanced imaging and treatment.  Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Imaging, and Ultrasound.  We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art equipment as well as accessibility and providing services throughout the community, including surrounding areas.  Our team works closely with other departments such as surgery and oncology to provide the best care for all patients. Shift: Full time, Nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
• Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Requirements:

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology
• Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry
• Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
• Advanced ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography required within one (1) year of hire
• 3 Years of related experience
• Current BLS Certification
