CT Technologist - Float Team

Role Overview: The CT Technologist supports a variety of imaging services across multiple facilities within the Diagnostic Float Team, primarily in Region Four. They deliver safe, high-quality CT imaging while ensuring a compassionate patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams accurately according to physician orders and safety standards.
• Verify patient identity, gather relevant history, and screen for contraindications.
• Explain procedures clearly, demonstrating empathy and confidence.
• Prepare, position, and assist patients with mobility and immobilization as needed.
• Establish IV access, administer contrast media safely, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Operate CT scanners and injectors, ensuring optimal imaging with minimal radiation exposure.
• Evaluate image quality, identify urgent findings, and communicate with physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation, manage RIS/PACS entries, and perform quality control tasks.
• Support daily operations, including room setup, equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least 2 years of hospital-based Radiologic Technologist and CT experience.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.
