CT Technologist Nights

The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality, safe imaging procedures in a collaborative healthcare team.

They perform CT exams following department protocols, ensuring diagnostic accuracy while minimizing radiation exposure ( ALARA ), and operate imaging equipment independently.

Key duties include maintaining equipment cleanliness, obtaining patient histories, explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, administering contrast agents, and positioning patients correctly.

They review images for quality, document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS, and support emergency responses and equipment readiness.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent , completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 1 year of radiology experience .

Certifications required are ARRT - R (Radiography) , ARRT - CT , and BLS .

Skills needed encompass technical proficiency, attention to detail, patient communication, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to work independently within a team.
