CT Technologist – Per Diem – Rotation

Role: Performs computed tomography (CT) procedures to acquire diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and protocol compliance.

Responsibilities: Obtains high-quality CT images, properly prepares and positions patients, administers contrast agents, and performs venous access. Conducts advanced CT procedures including CTA, interventional, and cardiac imaging, operating specialized equipment such as cryo, radiofrequency, and microwave ablation devices. Maintains knowledge of pharmacology, physics, and protocol optimization to enhance image quality and reduce patient dose. Manages inventory, performs quality control, and interfaces with clinical staff for scheduling and clinical information. Ensures compliance with safety guidelines, including ImageGently, and maintains accurate documentation and coding. Operates multiple CT systems across locations and handles image management from outside sources.

Qualifications: Graduate of a Specialty Training Program; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must possess technical expertise in CT imaging, patient care, and equipment maintenance.
