We are looking for a CTO for our client, a group with operations across multiple countries.

The CTO will define the group’s technology strategy and lead its execution across multiple businesses. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can connect technology investment to business priorities, deliver complex transformation programmes, and build effective teams across a distributed organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a group-wide technology strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities
• Lead the evolution of enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud, data, and integration architecture
• Oversee major transformation programmes, including SAP and other business-critical systems
• Strengthen cybersecurity, technology risk management, data governance, and business continuity
• Identify practical opportunities to apply analytics, AI, and automation across the business
• Establish effective ways of working across technology teams, business units, and geographies
• Manage technology budgets, strategic vendors, and the delivery of major programmes

Candidate profile

• Senior technology leadership experience in a large, complex, or multi-company organisation
• A strong track record of delivering enterprise-wide transformation
• Broad expertise across enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital technologies
• Strategic experience with ERP programmes; SAP experience is highly valued
• The ability to work closely with executive stakeholders and turn business needs into clear technology priorities
• Experience building and leading multidisciplinary teams
• Fluent English
