About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join Hansen Information Technology (Hong Kong) Limited at our Science Park location in the Tai Po District. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to shape the future of our technology strategy and vision.

As CTO, you will serve as the strategic leader responsible for all technology initiatives, architectural decisions, and technical innovation across the organisation. This is a pivotal role that bridges technology and business strategy, ensuring our technology infrastructure and capabilities align with corporate objectives and drive competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a clear technology vision and strategy that aligns with business objectives and supports long-term growth
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of technology infrastructure and systems to ensure scalability, security, and performance
• Lead and mentor the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms that enhance operational efficiency and competitive positioning
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, data security protocols, and regulatory requirements across all technology initiatives
• Manage technology budgets and investments, optimising resource allocation to deliver maximum business value
• Collaborate with executive leadership and stakeholders to identify business challenges and develop technology-driven solutions
• Establish governance frameworks and best practices for technology projects and operations
• Drive digital transformation initiatives and lead the organisation through technological change

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a CTO or equivalent senior technology executive position
• Proven track record of developing and executing technology strategies that align with business goals and deliver measurable results
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems
• Extensive experience leading and scaling technical teams, building high-performing cultures, and developing talent
• Demonstrated expertise in technology budgeting, vendor management, and ROI optimisation
• Excellent strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Strong knowledge of emerging technologies, industry trends, and digital transformation best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organisational levels
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Experience in the Asia-Pacific technology market is advantageous
