Role Summary

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Chief Technology Officer to lead the technology organization and drive the development of our client's Core Leasing and Hire Purchase platforms.

You will own the technology strategy and execution, lead a team of approximately 20 people, and work closely with the CEO and Board. The core challenge is to design and deliver flexible systems that can support diverse product formulas and calculation rules across different partners while modernizing legacy systems and building a scalable, secure technology foundation.

What You Will Do

• Define and execute the company's technology strategy and 3–5 year transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy, growth, operational efficiency, customer experience, and risk management.
• Lead major Core Lending/Core Leasing, Hire Purchase, Core Finance, Enterprise System, and Legacy Modernisation programmes, from strategy and architecture through implementation, migration, go-live, and stabilisation.
• Architect and build flexible Core Leasing and Hire Purchase platforms capable of handling heterogeneous product formulas, interest calculation methods, fee structures, and partner-specific business rules without hard-coding.
• Own Enterprise Architecture and Technology Modernisation across Application, Data, Cloud, API, Infrastructure, Security, and Software Engineering, including DevSecOps and modern engineering practices.
• Drive digital, AI/analytics, automation, and business process transformation initiatives that deliver measurable improvements in revenue, cost, productivity, customer service, and risk.
• Oversee Infrastructure, Cloud, IT Operations, Cybersecurity, Disaster Recovery, BCP, IT Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Data Protection.
• Lead and develop a technology team of approximately 20 people, building high-performing capabilities in engineering, architecture, data, and IT operations.
• Act as the key technology advisor to the CEO, Executive Management, and Board, strengthening business–technology alignment and leading stakeholder engagement and change management across major programmes.

What You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred); relevant certifications are a plus.
• 10 years of progressive technology leadership experience, with significant time in financial services, leasing, hire purchase, consumer finance, or related lending businesses.
• Proven track record leading Core Banking/Core Lending/Core Leasing system implementations or major modernisation programmes.
• Strong experience designing flexible products and calculation engines that support multiple interest formulas, fee structures, and partner-specific rules.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, API-driven systems, data platforms, cybersecurity, and modern software engineering practices (DevSecOps, CI/CD, agile at scale).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and scale teams of 15–20 people across development and infrastructure, and to drive organisational change.
• Preferred: direct experience with Hire Purchase/Leasing systems in Thailand or Southeast Asia, and experience integrating with multiple external partners under complex product configuration requirements.
