CTS ENGINEER (Customer Technical Service)

We are looking for a CTS Engineer (Customer Technical Service) based in our plant at Osuna, to act as the key technical liaison for our food and closure customers across Spain and Portugal, ensuring operational excellence and maximizing the performance of our packaging solutions. Key Responsibilities Technical Support & Quality Claims: Manage and resolve quality claims directly at customer facilities (food and closures sectors). Technical Assistance & Maintenance: Provide technical support to ensure optimal use of Sonoco products, including spare parts management, changeovers, new installations, and maintenance of closures cappers. Audits & Continuous Improvement: Conduct technical audits of customer processes and deliver actionable recommendations to optimize their production lines. Homologations & Customer Relations: Lead and manage customer product homologation processes, developing and maintaining strong technical relationships with clients. Candidate Profile & Requirements Technical Background: Strong expertise in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanics (Mandatory). Basic knowledge or experience in Electrical systems and cutting/welding is considered a plus. Industry Experience: Previous experience in the food sector or industrial packaging is highly valued. Languages: Fluent English (Essential for daily customer interaction in Spain and Portugal). Mobility: High willingness to travel and visit customer facilities across Spain and Portugal. IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook for writing technical reports.
Vehicle: Availability of personal vehicle or willingness to utilize rental vehicle options for business travel.
