Culinary Assistant

Company Description À La Carte Nutrition provides fresh, fully cooked, family-style dinners, desserts, and individual meal plan subscriptions each week. The company focuses on nutritionally balanced, portion-controlled recipes that support healthier eating without sacrificing flavor. Meals are prepared fresh using local, clean, and organic ingredients. Orders are delivered to customers’ doorsteps or made available for same-day pick-up at convenient locations in Missouri City, Sugar Land, and Houston. Team members contribute directly to making healthy, high-quality meals accessible to busy households.

Role Description:

CULINARY ASSISTANT

**Part-Time | Mostly Virtual | Approx. 10–15 Hours/Week

We’re looking for an organized, creative self-starter to help keep things running behind the scenes while also taking an active role in marketing and social media to help grow À La Carte Nutrition. Most work can be done virtually, with a few local/in-person responsibilities each month.

Marketing & Growth

* Create and schedule consistent, engaging social media content

* Help develop promotions, campaigns, and new marketing ideas

* Create email newsletters and other online marketing

* Actively promote our products and services online and in the community

* Look for new ways to reach potential customers and grow our local presence

* Connect with local businesses, gyms, and community partners

* Occasionally distribute marketing materials and help manage vendor events

Administrative Support

* Respond to customer inquiries

* Assist with customer billing

* Organize and maintain Google Drive files

* Update weekly recipe folders and resources for our chefs
