Pay: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

About the Opportunity

Quantum Care Place of El Dorado Hills is seeking a Culinary Director to lead a safe, sanitary, well-organized dining program that delivers high-quality meals and positive dining experiences for residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead dietary staff, including interviewing, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance support.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and ensure required safety, sanitation, infection-control, and emergency training is completed.
• Plan regular and special diets, support diet changes, maintain tested recipes, and ensure meals are prepared and served on time.
• Manage food, equipment, and supply requisitions and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Ensure proper portion sizes, temperatures, quality, presentation, and resident service.
• Maintain dietary care plans, assessments, complaint records, and related documentation in collaboration with the care team.
• Monitor departmental expenses, budgets, cost controls, and corrective action plans.
• Inspect kitchen and dining areas for sanitation, order, safety, and effective performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Dietary Manager certification or ability to obtain it within the facility’s required timeframe.
• At least two years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with cost control, food management, dietary therapy, safe food handling, and sanitation.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday and lift, push, pull, or carry at least 30 pounds.
• Availability for weekends, holidays, or other hours as operational needs require.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
