Culinary Intern

The Culinary Intern at Solaire Resort Entertainment City will gain hands-on experience supporting professional kitchen operations across world-class culinary venues. Designed for hospitality and culinary students, this program provides meaningful exposure to food preparation, mise en place, station readiness, kitchen organization, and five-star culinary standards. Working alongside experienced culinary professionals, the intern will develop fundamental technical skills, operational discipline, and a strong understanding of food safety and service excellence within a fast-paced luxury resort environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily Culinary Operations: Assist the culinary team with food preparation, mise en place, ingredient handling, and other day-to-day kitchen activities.
• Station Preparation & Service Readiness: Support the setup, organization, and maintenance of assigned kitchen stations to ensure efficient preparation and smooth service operations.
• Food Safety & Kitchen Standards: Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, proper hygiene, and safe food-handling practices in accordance with established culinary standards.
• Culinary Skills Development: Practice fundamental culinary techniques, proper knife handling, equipment use, and basic preparation methods under the guidance of experienced culinary professionals.
• Operational Support: Assist with ingredient storage, equipment and utensil organization, and other assignments aligned with the assigned culinary area.
