• Experience: Proven background as a prep cook is essential.
• Safety Knowledge: Understanding of kitchen health and safety regulations.
• Manual Skills: Proficiency in using kitchen tools and utensils.
• Culinary Technique: Braising, Grilling, Sautéing etc...
• Team Player: Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Adaptability: Ability to remain calm and positive under pressure.
• Physical Stamina: Good physical condition to withstand the demands of the kitchen.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Culinary training is a plus.

Duties:

• Preparation: Efficiently follow prep lists, measure ingredients, and chop vegetables.
• Organization: Label and stock ingredients for easy accessibility.
• Cooking Support: Assist with basic cooking tasks such as reducing sauces and parboiling food.
• Dishwashing: Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.
• Storage Management: Ensure proper storage of food and other items.
• Compliance: Adhere to nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
• Flexibility: Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
