CULINARY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

South Beach Seafood Festival – Chef Showdown & Culinary Demonstrations

Are you currently attending culinary school or recently graduated and looking to gain hands-on experience working alongside professional chefs at a major culinary event?

We’re looking for enthusiastic, hardworking culinary students and recent culinary graduates to join our production team for the South Beach Seafood Festival in Miami Beach!

This is a great opportunity to get behind the scenes and experience what it takes to execute live chef competitions and culinary demonstrations in a fast-paced festival environment.

FRIDAY – CHEF SHOWDOWN (6PM-11PM)

Volunteers will work directly with our Chef Showdown production team and assist with:

• Helping chefs with on-stage needs during competitions
• Cleaning and resetting the chef prep areas between battles
• Assisting with basic prep-area organization and breakdown
• Helping chefs and production staff with equipment and supplies
• Keeping the stage and prep areas clean, organized, and ready for the next battle
• Assisting with any additional chef needs during the competition
• Working closely with the production team to keep the show running smoothly

SATURDAY – CULINARY DEMONSTRATION STAGE (12PM-5PM)

Volunteers will assist with our live culinary demonstration stage, including:

• Resetting and cleaning the stage between demonstration sets
• Assisting chefs with on-stage needs
• Helping organize ingredients, equipment, and prep areas
• Passing out chef-prepared samples to attendees watching the demonstrations
• Keeping the demonstration area clean and organized
• Assisting the production team with transitions between chefs
• Helping ensure each demonstration is ready to go when the next chef takes the stage

• Reliable, energetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Team players who are willing to jump in wherever needed
