Cultivation Technician

We’re looking for a team-oriented individual to join our cultivation staff who enjoys working with plants at commercial scale – on a tight schedule. We need a reliable, motivated person who has a proven track record of taking the initiative with respect to both efficiency and quality of work.

This position includes hard work in a fast-paced environment; we need someone who thrives in this setting. We prefer someone who understands the importance of uniformity of production standards, following established protocols and contributing to the continual improvement of all of the above.

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

Transplanting / up-potting

Plant shaping and maintenance such as pinching, pruning and defoliating

Automated fertigation system component maintenance and upkeep

Willingness to cross-train as an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) technician

We collect data via scouting protocols

We use only OMRI-listed soft chemistry and microbiological pesticides for prevention, suppression, and control

Communications via a central task board and a general commitment to staying on schedule

No previous experience required, but a working knowledge, background or scholastic interest in any of the following are a plus:

Horticulture / Plant Science

Floriculture

Agriculture / Farm Operations

Landscape Maintenance, Installation

Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Plant Physiology, Biochemistry, Entomology

METRC / Cannabis Tracking System

Prior experience in any of the following are also a plus:

Food and Beverage Service

Hospitality

Team sports

Manufacturing

Engineering

Construction

Requirements:

Current Oklahoma Cannabis Employee Credential

2+ references not related to you

Ability to:

Lift more than 25 lbs on a regular basis

Sit, stand, kneel or crouch for extended periods of time
