Cultivation Technician

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cultivation Technician to join our cultivation team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with plants, takes pride in doing things correctly, and is willing to learn.

Previous cannabis cultivation experience is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Experience in horticulture, farming, landscaping, agriculture, or general plant care is a plus, but we are primarily looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, attentive to detail, and willing to learn.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with planting, pruning, watering, and general maintenance of cannabis plants
• Monitor plant health and report any issues to manager
• Monitor environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, and lighting
• Prepare and apply nutrients and fertilizers according to established procedures and feeding schedules
• Follow cultivation procedures and instructions accurately and consistently
• Maintain accurate records of plant growth, environmental conditions, and cultivation activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary cultivation environment
• Follow all safety procedures and sanitation protocols
• Follow all applicable state and local cannabis regulations
• Work cooperatively with other members of the cultivation team
• Perform other cultivation-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cannabis cultivation, horticulture, farming, landscaping, agriculture, or plant care is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
• Willingness to learn new procedures and cultivation techniques
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must meet all applicable state and local requirements for employment in the cannabis industry
• Must successfully pass the required state-mandated Department of Health background check
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
• Comfortable working in hot and humid conditions
• Comfortable working in small or confined work areas
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility is required

Training

We understand that the right candidate may not have previous cannabis cultivation experience. Training will be provided.

We are looking for individuals who are dependable, motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. If you have experience working with plants or in a hands-on environment, that's a plus, but we encourage motivated entry-level candidates to apply.

Public transportation does not reach our site and the position requires you to have a personal vehicle to get to and from work each day. Are you able to meet this requirement?
