What they need
Ottodot helps children learn math and science through live online classes and game-based learning. Our Primary program is aligned to the Singapore MOE syllabus.
We're looking for a Curriculum Designer & Teacher (Math) who designs our P1–P6 Math lessons and teaches them.
To apply, please submit an application here: https://airtable.com/appytuR6ewIdKWEFA/pagJkcixPTRFBXrSE/form
What You'll Own
- Teaching: about 16 hours a week of live online Math classes.
- Learning outcomes: move student mastery up lesson by lesson, week over week.
- Lesson & assessment design: P1–P6 Math materials (slides, lesson plans, questions, homework, post-tests) aligned to the MOE syllabus and exam standards, with the right rigor per level.
- Teacher execution: spot-checks and specific feedback that changes what happens in other teachers' classes.
- Game alignment: work with our game team so in-class games reinforce each lesson's objectives.
We're Looking For Someone With
- Strong grasp of Singapore primary Math (including the model method and PSLE question types).
- Experience teaching primary students (classroom or online), or experience designing lessons or assessments.
- Analytical: you reason from student data and qualitative feedback to prioritise interventions.
- Follow-through: you close intervention loops and hit weekly commitments.
- AI-native, or eager to learn how to use AI well.
- Empathy for how students actually experience a lesson.
- Strong spoken and written English.
Why This Role Matters
We think kids learn best when they're having fun. A lot of Math tuition relies on drills that build speed but not confidence. So we put games at the centre of our lessons, including our games on Roblox, and make sure homework and feedback pull in the same direction. In this role, you'll design those lessons and teach them yourself, so you'll see what works with real kids every week.
Role Details
- Type: Full-time, 3-month probation.
- Remote role: you'll need a quiet space and a stable internet connection.
- Teaching: about 16 hours of live classes a week (around 13 classes), counted monthly so weeks can flex. You choose your class slots from our class schedule each term.
- Curriculum design: at least three design days a week, about 24 hours. We'll agree your design days together, based on what works for you and the team. Our core working hours are Monday to Friday, 10am–6pm (GMT+8), so your design days would fall within this range.
- Class times: weekdays 4pm–8:30pm and weekend daytime (GMT+8).
- Relief cover: you may be asked to cover classes when a teacher is unavailable. Relief counts toward your monthly teaching hours.
