Curriculum Developer

We are looking for a Curriculum Developer to develop and improve adult learning programmes across WSQ and non-WSQ courses.

You will work closely with Subject Matter Experts, trainers and industry stakeholders to turn learning needs and industry insights into practical, engaging and relevant training programmes.

Responsibilities

• Research industry trends, workforce needs and skills requirements to support course development.
• Develop course structures, learning outcomes, lesson plans, activities and assessments.
• Create training materials such as slides, trainer guides, learner materials, case studies and assessment instruments.
• Develop and review curriculum documentation for WSQ and non-WSQ programmes.
• Plan and facilitate focus group sessions with industry practitioners, trainers and stakeholders to gather insights for curriculum development and improvement.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts to translate technical or industry knowledge into learner-friendly content.
• Review feedback and course outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
• Use generative AI tools effectively for research, ideation, content development, analysis and curriculum design.
• Manage multiple curriculum development projects and ensure timelines are met.

Requirements

• ACLP or ACTA certified.
• Registered on TAEPP.
• Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, adult education or learning and development.
• Good understanding of adult learning principles and assessment design.
• Good working knowledge of generative AI tools and the ability to apply AI effectively at work.
• Strong research, writing, analytical and organisational skills.
• Confident in facilitating discussions and engaging different stakeholders.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience developing WSQ or SSG-funded programmes is an advantage.
• DDDLP, DACE or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
