Curtain Maker

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Curtain Maker to join our team. As a Curtain Maker, you will be responsible for crafting and installing curtains and other window treatments according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Measure windows accurately to ensure precise fittings and fabric calculations.
• Cut, sew, and assemble curtains and other window treatments using industrial sewing machines and hand tools.
• Install curtains in clients' homes or businesses, ensuring proper hanging and fit.
• Make alterations or adjustments as needed to achieve client satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of fabrics, tools, and equipment.
• Uphold high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail in all aspects of curtain making.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and new techniques in curtain design and fabrication.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Curtain Maker or similar role in a related field.
• Proficiency in using industrial sewing machines and other tools necessary for curtain making.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and their characteristics.
• Ability to interpret design specifications and measurements accurately.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
