Cushion Sewer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cushion Sewer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for sewing cushions and upholstery items with precision and care, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards. Your expertise in garment sewing, fabric handling, and seam construction will contribute to creating comfortable, durable products that meet customer expectations. Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines and serging equipment to assemble cushion covers and upholstery components efficiently.
• Measure fabric materials accurately using measuring instruments to ensure proper sizing and fit of cushions.
• Perform manual cutting of fabrics and materials, adhering strictly to pattern specifications and safety standards.
• Construct seams with precision, ensuring strong and seamless joins that meet quality standards in production.
• Handle materials carefully during manufacturing processes, including fabric, foam, padding, and upholstery components.
• Conduct dimensional measurements throughout the sewing process to verify product consistency and quality.
• Follow safety standards in production environments to maintain a safe workspace for all team members.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in garment sewing, upholstery, or related manufacturing fields.
• Skilled in operating sewing machines, including industrial sewing machines and sergers.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality standards in production environments.
• Familiarity with seam construction, garment construction, embroidery, and fabric materials.
• Ability to handle materials safely while maintaining high attention to detail during manual cutting and sewing tasks.
• Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with materials handling and inventory management.
• Strong understanding of safety standards in production settings to ensure a secure working environment.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
