Custodial Coordinator

Our custodial team members are vital to providing high-quality cleaning services for our operations facilities and the team members working in these facilities by ensuring our buildings are always in “Tour Ready” condition. The Custodial Coordinator is a working front line supervisor for the Custodians. Requirements Essential functions of the position include:

• Overseeing daily assignments, training, and supervision of custodial staff
• Maintains training and attendance records / Work Force on department personnel
• Ensures custodial staff follow proper procedures and meet quality expectations through periodic observation and inspection of work performed
• Vacuuming carpeted floors and floor mats using an industrial vacuum
• Sweeping, moping, and dusting all areas of the building
• Ensuring that all trash is removed from the building and deposited into the trash receptacle
• Cleaning all restrooms by sweeping & mopping floors, disinfecting the restrooms, (i.e., wiping & washing urinals, toilets, sinks, stalls, walls, floors, mirrors, etc.) with disinfectant and stocking paper products and soap
• Cleaning breakroom by sweeping floors, disinfecting the lunchroom: by wiping & washing tables, chairs, counters, floors, walls, windows, etc. Including cleaning inside refrigerators
• Stocking breakroom with supplies (i.e., forks, knives, spoons, cups, coffee, etc.)
• Cleaning windows inside of the facility
• Cleaning offices including desks, chairs, carpet, and chair mats
• Cleaning and dusting the lobby area
• Ensuring all refuse is removed from the grounds around the building by sweeping sidewalks, picking up trash, and emptying garbage cans and ash buckets

Qualifications Successful candidates will be team players with previous cleaning / custodial experience preferred and experience with cleaning commercial buildings and/or industrial environments a plus.
