Custodial/Maintenance Worker

The Dobbs Ferry School District has a vacancy for a full-time Custodial Worker, effective approximately October 28, 2026. This is a 12-month, 40-hour per week (Mondays- Fridays) position. The annual salary range is $58,436 - $73,071. Terms of employment are in accordance with the Dobbs Ferry Custodial/Security Personnel collective bargaining unit.

Description: This is a non-competitive civil service position. The successful candidate must submit an application and a non-refundable $50.00 processing fee to the Westchester County Department of Human Resources. Appointment to this position is subject to the final review of the Westchester County Department of Human Resources and the Dobbs Ferry School District Board of Education.

Job Duties/Requirements: Ability to make minor repairs to furnishings and building systems; perform routine maintenance on building systems and perform gounds-keeping activities; knowledge of safe work procedures and building cleaning practices; abilitly to work with staff including office support, teachers, related services, and building/department administrators, as well as local community; ability to understand and implement written and oral communication.
