Custodian

Cabazon Outlets is a premier outlet center conveniently located between Palm Springs and Los Angeles, Cabazon Outlets offers a unique desert landscape shopping experience nestled between the Santa Rosa and San Gorgonio Mountain Range. We are seeking to hire Custodians to maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the common areas and parking lot of the Center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain all common areas of the Center to the standards set by the company (including the public restrooms, parking lots, removing gum, stains, cigarette butts, paper and debris from the ground).
• Ensure the cart is fully stocked at the beginning of the shift.
• Support the maintenance staff as directed by the Operations Director.
• Perform all duties according to OSHA established health and safety standards.
• Assist customers as appropriate, always maintaining a positive friendly and helpful attitude.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all safety procedures established for the Center.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area in all custodial storage areas.
• Ensure complete working knowledge and familiarity of all Center Emergency Procedures.
• Snow shoveling (if necessary at center location).
• Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (G.E.D.)
• No experience necessary.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

• Ability to comprehend instruction.
• Must be able to work independently and take initiative.
• Requires attention to detail.
• Ability to identify problems and then recommend a resolution.
• Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.

This position requires the employee to operate a Company vehicle as an essential job function. Employment is contingent upon the applicant being eligible to operate a Company vehicle under the Company's commercial automobile-insurance requirements at the time of hire and throughout employment. Eligibility will be confirmed through review of the applicant's driving record and the Company's insurer or insurance broker, as applicable.
