Custodian

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment . In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the highest standards of sanitation and appearance.

Duties

• Perform light repeat cleaning tasks to maintain a museum through the day
• This includes bathroom touch up cleaning and restocking periodically
• Cleaning an auditorium after usage
• Spot cleaning rugs and spill throughout the day

Skills

• Experience in commercial or residential cleaning with a understanding of janitorial procedures.
• Skilled in handling chemical agents safely while adhering to chemical handling safety procedures.
• Familiarity with custodial equipment including, vacuums, mops, cleaning chemicals, and cleaning tools.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a hygienic environment.
• Experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is a plus.

Pay: $3,200.00 per month
