Custodian/Cleaner

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian/Cleaner to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This vital role ensures that all areas are kept in pristine condition, promoting health, safety, and productivity for staff and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality cleaning and maintenance services that support our organization’s standards of excellence.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct routine commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities by sanitizing high-touch surfaces and restrooms regularly to promote hygiene and safety
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to prevent accidents or hazards
• Monitor supply inventories and notify management when supplies need replenishing to ensure continuous operations
• Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives as scheduled or requested by supervisors
• Qualifications
• Prior experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality in all cleaning tasks
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established procedures and safety guidelines
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing, and walking throughout shifts
• Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus but not mandatory
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude toward maintaining a clean environment for everyone’s benefit

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
