Custodian/Janitor

The primary responsibility is to perform a variety of manual custodial tasks involved in the housekeeping of the building.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following:
Sweep and mop floors; vacuum
Dust and clean offices; other work areas
Collect and remove trash; replace with new liners (inside and outside of the building)
Wash windows and walls
Clean restrooms; employees and public
Inventory custodial supplies
Must assist in helping to keep inventory and restrooms clean in the shop.
Move and/or lift furniture, boxes, and other materials
Must be able to work harmoniously with clients, co-workers, community organizations, trade/professional organizations, and the general public.
Must be able to work alone or as a part of a team.
Must be able to work extra hours when needed.
Must demonstrate good time management skills.
Solve practical CityLink custodial problems.
Must attend monthly meetings.
Must help in cleaning the inventory room/ maintenance restroom.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
